Diter Hakrama was born in Albania, immigrated to the United States at the age of 9 years old. Became citizen in the U.S. at age of 15 years old, as Albanian-American. Then found his was out little by little playing high standard soccer in the United States. He first started playing with youth Albanian soccer club, KF Dinamo Tirana in his native country. When he moved to the United States he stableized himself with SC Lazers in Montclair, NJ at the age of 10 through 12 years old. Hakrama always has a dream to become a professional soccer player one day, and day by day that dream is getting to be bigger for him. At the age of 13, Hakrama was training with variety of clubs, due to an injury he suffered when he was playing with SC Lazers. He wasn't playing soccer continuesly, just a litttle by little until the pain went away. Couple of years went by, as soon as he was a freshman in high school Diter Hakrama earned his first chance to play with the NY Red Bulls U-17, he started training with the team day by day then played the games. As a coach has told him in the past that "This kid plays with all heart in the field running up and down, getting a big grip at the ball and taking a shot at the net, he is very fast with the ball, great speed, to me it seemed like this kid never sweat in the field. This will get him very far in soccer" As a sophmore Diter Hakrama wasn't doing as well as he's past years. The 2007-2008 High School soccer season was'nt interesting at all at this year, but the upcoming high school season, as he's a junior, everyone is expecting something big from this Albanian soccer player who now it turns out at just a blink of an eye he's developing he's dream to become something in his future. Diter Hakrama this year (2008) is going back to his native country Albania for the whole summer, one of his first reasons is him getting to play soccer and practice two-seccions with his former club, KF Dinamo Tirana.
